In the market for a quirky & fun podcast that covers movies & some pop culture? 

I know it doesn’t seem possible that Omaha could offer something like that, but there is a brand-spankin’ new podcast out of there called Movieha! that you will be delighted by.

They are on twitter and also have a Facebook page.  Here is how they describe themselves:

Your weekly podcast about movie news, reviews, Netflix, and upcoming features. We survey the rough and pass the diamonds to you.

What makes this worth listening to when there are soooo many movie podcasts out there?  Here are the main reasons:

• Netflix roulette:  They do a spot reviewing a film each week that is on Netflix that was either recommended highly to them by Netflix itself or a listener.
• On the Radar:  They do a spot that grabs a film you will likely miss out on or never hear about, but would truly enjoy & make sure that you do actually know about it
• Show format:  The podcasts only run 30min & are broken into segments, making them easy to listen to or to skip to the parts you like best
• Ryan:  smart & funny- this guy actually knows what he’s talking about, but doesn’t talk down to you or over your head.  He’s associated with The Reader
• Matt:  His trailer assessments should not be missed.  He’s 1/2 of the online comic strip Good Plus.
